An attraction to nature along with an interest to investigate historical techniques is what cultivates the work of ceramist Amy Dillon. She established PrebleClayworks in 2004, together with her husband Judd, after obtaining her degree in Fine Art Ceramics from Ohio University. Amy delights in the versatility of clay, fostering her exploration of a variety of methods in continuously evolving ways. Most recently, Amy has enjoyed creating small ceramic canvases in the form of jewelry, along with the use of molds – both newly created and vintage. In addition, the couple keeps bees and sells honey from their West Alexandria, Ohio hobby farm. You can learn more about the studio and apiary by connecting on-line with Preble Clayworks on Facebook and Etsy.
