Be sure to join us for this Cyclops pre-party from 6pm-11pm in Kings Yard in downtown Yellow Springs! Live DJ’s, performances, craft beer & food garden from Ye Olde Trail Tavern, live screen printing from Basho Apparel (only $10 for the limited t-shirt or bring your own t-shirt to have printed for $5), graffiti art from Etch and much more! The weather will be gorgeous in Yellow Springs so bring your blankets and lawn chairs!

It’s also the 3rd Friday Fling in Yellow Springs! Make sure to check out all the late night shopping, gallery hopping & entertainment! The Soul Fire Tribe will be performing outside of Asanda Imports at 9pm!

Cyclops Fest is back and fresh for 2012! To celebrate, festival organizers are throwing a Cyclops Pre-Party. This party, entitled, “Dynamite Soul” An Evening of Gimmick Free Hip-Hop and Ill Sensations, will take place on Friday May 18^th, 2012 in Yellow Springs. This pre-party will be an outdoors event at Kings Yard located in the heart of downtown Y.S.

The Dynamite Soul Event will be a showcase for Ohio hip-hop artists and DJ’s. Featured artists will be Turntable Philanthropy (Columbus OH), Skratchmatik Turntable Crew (Dayton OH) and Grey Market / Dysfunktional Family (Athens OH). In addition, there will be live graffiti and screen-printing demo’s and a craft beer and food garden sponsored by Ye Olde Trail Tavern.

Cyclops is an epic festival of handmade goods, music, culture and D.I.Y. wonderfulness! The festival and pre-party organizers are Urban Handmade and Basho Apparel. Premier festival media sponsors returning for their second year are The Dayton City Paper and WYSO.

Come to “Dynamite Soul” An Evening of Gimmick Free Hip-Hop & Ill Sensations, to get a little taste of what Cyclops Fest is all about. In addition, applications for Cyclops Fest will be available on-site for handmade artists, service vendors, food vendors and volunteers.

Join us For the 2nd Annual Cyclops Fest on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the John Bryan Center in Yellow Springs,Ohio from 10 am to 7 pm!

Last year’s Cyclops Fest was a huge success with a larger than expected turn out, over 50 handmade vendors, great food and 5 musical acts. This year will be even better with more handmade vendors (inside and out), live demos, kids activities and more music. Come see what it’s all about. Located in the heart of Yellow Springs, Cyclops Fest will have something for everyone!
